Our Programs
We give school supplies to families and offer free medications and healthcare education to underserved communities. Our programs include rehab and counseling to improve quality of life. Each May, we raise mental health awareness, and teach prevention skills through events. Mental health workers educate the public on common issues, stress management, and coping skills, while supporting people with mental illness and their families. Hosted yearly by CHERF, these efforts bring important community wellness resources and education.

Mental Health Awareness
The first week of May is a time to raise awareness of mental health issues in the community. Mental health practitioners mobilize efforts to educate the public about common mental health issues, how to fight or reduce stigma associated with mental health issues, stress management and coping skills, suicide prevention, substance use prevention skills and provide support for people with mental illness and their families and also help them find resources available in their community. Hosted by CHERF annually as it considers it important to bring awareness to mental health issues and educate the public by hosting educational and social events, volunteer and distribute brochures and drop handbills in places.
